Poems

How feelings got across then,

Silently without a word being told?

Now many words died untold,

When the relationship became old.

You coyly cribbed that I was not man enough,

As I was too delicate with you and not desirably rough,

Now you see me as a caveman,

As if I flung you to the floor and used as a rug.

The difference is love,

The presence and absence of it.

Closing the space between us then,

And now distancing it.
